At a press conference held on Wednesday 07 December 2011 in Ljubljana, the electrical and electronic equipment management company, Zeos, presented an integrated project to raise awareness of the broader public and schoolchildren on the importance of separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), luminaries and portable battery and accumulator waste (waste PBA).
At the beginning of every school year, coordinators of the ECO Schools programme traditionally gather at a national conference held at Brdo pri Kranju. On 05 October 2011, they were addressed by the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Dr. Roko Žarni?, who also stressed that the Eco-Schools Programme has developed into a really wide network of institutions in Slovenia.

In Bucharest, a one-day beginners' Life+ seminar was organised, with the topic of project management and reporting in the implementation of projects granted within the framework of the "green" instrument for financing of environmental projects.
